alright i have been doing a little bit of reading on this turbo and i cant seem to find any info on it peroid. i herd hahnrace craft sells it but i go to the site and i cant find it. i know forced performance makes the wheel but doesnt sell anything else.

does anybody have any info on this thing?

thanks
david

Damn thats funny i was just on there website and i clicked super turbos and it keep saying page cannot be displayed. oOo well thanks man!

appraently, this turbo is a size equivalent to a t66/t70, and if you can find a truck that you can rip one off, switch turbine housings, then hell, all power to ya, I wanna find some truck yards to dig through.

Well the little info i did find on this turbo is that it flows less then a 60-1. it flows about 850cfm which is only like 50cfm less then the 60-1. you would get a little less then a 60 trim with oem quality. how can you go bad? the main reason for wanting to get a 25g is because these frank turbos like to die after a short peroid of time and there is no need for that in a daily driven time.....

the fact that it costs more, and flows less than a GT series garrett turbo comes to mind. That, and no one imports 25G's to the US other than Greddy, and good luck trying to get a good price from them *snicker*.

I had a discussion with Robert Young (from FP) today about this turbo. Even if you could put a TD06 turbine housing on it, the comp cover wouldn't fit with a stock manifold.

You would be better off buying an ENTIRE garrett setup that trying to get this turbo on your car, and you would pay less for it too.

A 60-1 flows 781cfm, a GT35R flows 832. If this thing flows 850, it's slightly bigger than the 35r.

Look at the pics in the Hahn link. They're using a TD07 comp. housing and a spacer plate on the manifold for clearance. You could probably just put it into a TD06 style comp. housing, just like FP does with the Red/Green. Robert would probably rather sell his proprietary turbos like the 3065 than play around with putting something like this together. It sounds like an interesting option, I just wonder what it'd cost to put together.

Interesting, I didn't realize that Forced Performance "makes wheels" now. ROFL

Jesus that is a huge turbo. Instead of trying to piece together a kit like it looks like you're trying to do, I'd just buy that kit from Hahns.

this is where i got teh info on the cfm. if the info i gave is wrong its because this guy is wrong http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=215275&highlight=25g

anyways if i gotta spend like 2k on a 25g im just gonna stick with my 20g for now and try to push the limits of it before i buy another turbo. besides if i start to go bigger its not goign to be fun to daily drive any more. it already sucks with the 20g at 50mph in 5th gear.

my point was this, it would cost more than it's worth. You could get a FP3575 setup for less money.

I'm not disagreeing. For the cost of the FP30 series, you could go full Garrett as well. Cheap hybrids I can understand, but anything over like $1200, and I don't see the point in messing around with adaptors and choked down turbine housings just to make it bolt up to a stock type manifold that's less than ideal as well.

Actually we have been making billet compressor wheels for about a year now, however, we don't make that one.

Thanks for the correction, I should have been more specific is my post.

Brian,

What would be a close appriximation of the A/R of your FP turbine housings as compared to garrett?
Somewhere between Garrett T31 .63 and .82
