1G missing after warmed up

my friend has a 93 tsi awd and his car will run fine for the first five or so minutes then once it is warmed up it starts missing, will die when trying to idle, and CEL comes on. I told him i would come and pull his signal for the CEL to see why that is comming up but in the mean time i was wandering what your guys thinking is on this was. Thanks.

Could be the CAS. Make sure it hasn't skipped any teeth on the timing belt too. I bet it's the CAS though.
