When I bought my car the window and door lock buttons fell into the panel... whatever, quick fix. The button to unlock and lock the doors doesn't work, though, but the window buttons work, and the car locks and unlocks itself when I park & drive. Also, my cruise control doesn't work. I replaced all the fuses the day after I bought it, and no cruise control :(. Everything else works except those two things- door lock and cruise control. Is there an easy fix for this? Some wiring issue to look for? I've managed fine without them but on the highway it would be so nice to have cc.

As an added bonus question, does a GS come stock with fog lights? There are wires in my bumper where it looked like some used to be, and it'd be really nice to have them for night driving. If they're supposed to be there I don't know why the previous owner would have taken them out...

If the car locks and unlocks itself when you change the gears its in, then it has an aftermarket alarm installed. So it might have some wiring issues you may need to track down.

The fog light wires are in every car I beleive, just not used if you dont have the higher models. Do you have a fog switch under the cruise control switch? If not then they have never been used.

For the cruise control is a bi*** to troubleshoot. Make sure that the petal switches for it are plugged in.

If the fog light switch is a jagged round button with a lightbulb on it, then yes I have it. Someone else mentioned I might have an aftermarket alarm cause this random blue LED turned on on my dash once, but it's been off since then.

Test to see if the lock switch is sending a pulse. It will be a negative pulse and if there's none it's the switch if so trace the wire. I believe the wires are brown/white and brown. The cc I'd say take the same approach it would probably be positive polarity but I may be wrong.

Oh wait, I'm retarded... the fog light button is probably the one that has three lines and a squiggley line going through them, right? I didn't drive today xD But that's the one I'm picturing.

Yes, the blue light seems to tell me you have a aftermarket alarm system. My car had a red light and stock alarm system however once upgraded to a viper system the technician changed the light to blue. To check if you have one, you can look under the the driver side dash (assuming that's where they mounted the control) and look to see if there's any weird shaped box where the control would be. Or look for a black receiver box with an antenna somewhere mounted in the car. For me it was located above the center dash board in-between the two locks that released my convertible top (I'll try and take pictures of what mine look like later).

In regards to the door locks, if all the wiring is fine it could be a bad relay switch kit. For my car there were 2-3 of these switches, 1 was behind the radio in the center dash, the other was behind my rear seat next to the actual door switch module. This can be the cause of your problem. In my car it looks like this:
