Well you can run it but the motor won't last too long. AF gauges are useless in our cars. You need a wideband o2 gauge, preferably innovative or AEM. It will need to communicate with your tuning software. You can't run 8psi without doing the fuel. You don't need a boost controller to get 8psi. You can just use a wastegate spring. What wastegate do you want to run? What turbo? What kind of blow off valve? How is your clutch? If its worn out and tired it wont last long. I would suggest very strongly not to get anything from ebay except the FMIC. You can get that on ebay but make sure it has a brand on it.

Hey, first off I wouldn't trust my engine with a tool I bought at harbor freight. That is just me. Why are you worried about your current engine compression when you are getting a junkyard motor to build?? If you are building an engine for boost specifically I would not go putting new turbo parts on an old engine when you can go new engine, new turbo parts at one time. I would recommend this not being your only form of transportation as well because this will take you awhile. I know it did for me. I did the same thing with building a different motor than in the car. That is a good price as well. I love my 420a and the heads I turn when I say its built 420a turbo haha. You shouldn't go buying things without knowing what you are buying. I study these forums like it is my job haha and that's probably the first step. I just read for 2 years before doing this. I would check all your fluids. How much power are you looking to get??
