Might if made a mistake..rebuilding my head

So when I bought my new lifters, I let them soak in oil and installed them, the other day I was reading about someone having a clicking noise and he said something about not "bleeding the lifters" before installing them? I just soaked mine and popped them in so to speak did I miss a step??

Not bleeding them, you run the chance of bending valves upon startup. Reason being that the lifters are essentially pumped up and pretty stiff. If you installed them though and didn't start the car immediately, eventually they will bleed off under tension. Have you ran the car since?

Mine were noisy for a while after i replaced them too, sound went away after a few mins tho.

The engine isn't assembled yet I still have to build up the block then I will install it into the car.

Just bleed them properly since you still have the chance. Better to be safe especially since your on a fresh rebuild.
