megan racing dp and thermal exhaust

So I have a Megan racing dp and a thermal r&d exhaust. My question is what would be the best way to complete this exhaust? Dp is 3" and the catback thermal bolts on to the stock cat which is 2.25". Don't need to worry about emissions either.

I would get a high flow cat or test pipe. Then I would have a muffler shop cut off the bottleneck and make it 3" all the way through

Yea that's exactly what I was thinking! Wanted to get some feedback if anyone else did anything different. Was thinking bout going with the Megan racing test 3" test pipe

Delete the cat and pay a muffler shop to weld a straight 3" piping in its place and blam there you go 3" turbo back
