MBC with a stock turbo, safe PSIs?

Hello!

I am new to turbocharged cars and don't know much about them yet.

I have 1996 Eclipse GST. The former owner of the car had installed a Blitz twin solenoid boost controller in the car, along with the Blitz pressure gauge of course.

I haven't tried the MBC yet, I just moved it to center of the dash. (below my 1 DIN radio, from between the driver's seat and the center console...)

I am just wondering, what is the "safe pressure" with stock turbo?

I mean can I use the MBC without worries and of course without putting too much pressure?
Now it is just below 0,7BAR, pretty much stock. (without use of the MBC)
My cousin just warned me not to touch it before he would measure something under the hood... :rolleyes:
I have 2,5" exhaust with Blitz silencers and K&N Air filter installed. (if these mods have any difference on the MBC)

Also, my MBC has only on/off switch and LO and HI VOL with adjustments, but no markings, or display.

Can someone give some some advice/manual of using MBC?

I know I am noob in these things, but my neighbour thought that the Blitzh MBC was a Bas Boost controller. :p :tease:

It sounds like you have an electronic boost controller, not a manual..
But I agree, you should upgrade your bov first, and then get an aftermarket boost gauge to see what levels of boost you will be running.
 
I agree with what everyone said, and just FYI i ran around 16psi on my t25 for a while.
