Can I get your guys opinion on my mbc set up. I have it tapped into the turbo housing and the back of the external wastergate. Can anyone see any problems with the way it's set up?

What's up with the wastegate looks like it's on backwards... ? or on a poorly designed manifold... you should post a pic of the other side.

That's the way it came so unless it came wrong from the factory.

What factory? LOL

There's nothing about that T04b that is OEM... depending on your Intercooler pipe configuration you might have to clock the cover 45 degrees

Something seems off about that compressor housing and what he said about the WG. What manifold is that?

Yeah what my1gdsm said you are most likely gonna have to clock the cover to face down to match up to your FMIC piping. Because there is no way you will have enough room with it facing forward like that once you get it bolted up.

I'm not sure it was in the box if extras that came with the car. Didn't have any oem mhi stuff.

You're definitely gonna have to clock the compressor to face down or you will never get your piping routed to it.

hope ## changing that wastegate too, it's not installed properly the bottom of it should be attached to the manifold. you have the outlet attached to it

I see you flipped the Wastegate. But, it is still not on correctly... The side that is facing down should be hooked up to the Manifold.

Also just wondering what O2 housing are you using with this?

I wonder what kind of turbine housing that is?guessing Ford 5 bolt

I'm doubting the OP is gonna get the O2 housing right as well begin the W/g was on backwards...

Oh an I thought those turbos where like $90 plus shipping LOL

I was referring to the turbo, manifold, and wastegate "package" at a cool $180. ROFL

There are a few hit-or-miss Chinese products which can actually go the distance. The biggest issue with the majority of the products that are on eBay is the fitment....normally requiring a great deal of special fabrication or even power steering elimination / alternator relocation in order to get the manifold and turbo to fit properly.

yea, then after all that hacking and slashing to get it to fit, it blows up in your face a few miles later LOL.

Here is some food for thought on using counterfeit turbos. Its a really boreing video but if you like destruction, this is for you.

On the otherhand, a member on GVR4.org is running an ebay 35r knock off on his car. He is happy to report that is is still holding 28psi with no issue, however, his genuine turbonetics WG is f'ing up.... Hrrmmm
