I am in the process of swapping my 7 bolt for a 6 bold, and I have a question. I have already searched for this and came up with nothing. When i was reading the articles it was saying that you need to take the MAP (MDP) sensor off the 2g intake mani and put it on the 1g, and said that you can drill or tap the manifold or T into the brake boost Vac line. I am wanting to drill it into the top of my manifold instead of T'ing it into the Brake booster vac line. When I look at my 2g intake mani it has a little plate that is down inside of the hole to where you cant actually see inside the intake.

My question is that do I need to some how get that piece out and put it in my 1g intake mani or just drill a hole small enough to make it tight to fit the MAP sensor in?

Thanks in andvance, I need to hear back asap because im trying to do this at school tomorrow and need to know if i need to take both intake manifolds with me.

P.S. I do have DSMLink, will this eliminate my MDP sensor to where I don't have to do any of this?

I'm not sure about the manifold situation, but its so much easier to just run a vacuum line to the TB port designated for it (P) and mount it on the firewall. That's what I did, it works just fine. Even older stock Hondas had the MAPs remote mounted.:thumb:
