Manual Transmission filter?

I was reading a thread about changing the automatic transmisson filter, and now it has me wondering if there is a filter for the manual transmisson....

When I change out my manual transmission fluid is there a filter to change also? Or is it just the auto's for some reason?

Just autos, Manual transmissions doesn't use filters.
