Yeah i just put two quarts of fluid in my trans and still didn't get full. and now its leaking out of somewhere. i put fluid into the bolt hole on top of tranny. Did i overfill it. was i suppose to fill it from the lower point on front of tranny and let it overflow from that hole. please help so i don't blow anything up haha.

You are supposed to fill it from the front "fill" plug. The 19mm hex detent bolt is the reverse lockout bolt, you are likely overfilled. The drained transmission installed on the car normally drops around 2qts, a completely drained transmission, like a fresh rebuilt transmission has a 2.4qt capacity.

Drain the transmission at the 24mm drain plug, and fill to the point that it is draining out of the fill plug hole on the front of the transmission on level ground or level 4x jackstands.

Is the 18mm bolt the fill hole.on front of tranny.mission.

just asking. its so tight can't get it off. right now. Need a breaker bar LOL

I checked the chilton manual i have but it did not specify anything about drain bolt fill bolt etc will it mess anything up if i drive it over filled. i drove 80 miles like it was today. and that's when i noticed my leak. but yes it is a 93 eclipse 4g63

You may have to use a breaker bar, I'd spray some WD40, Breakfree, or similar product on the fill plug and leave it be for a few hours first though. As stated above, you can just take the fill plug off and let it drain to where it needs to be, make sure you're on level ground. The fill plug is 17mm, drain 24mm. I double checked the manual, and in one section it differentiates between FWD (2.1qt capacity), and AWD (2.4qt capacity). In another section it just says 2.4qts. Anyway, it's pretty simple to get it right if you overfill obviously. The fill plug faces the front of the car, there is a picture here if you need a visual.
Changing Transmission Oils

So when looking down from under hood i won't be able to see drain bolt correct?? I think i see the filler hole but do not see the drain bolt. Looking from under hood......

You can't see the drain bolt from under the hood.
The filler hole spottable and removable from under the hood, it's the biggest bolt you can see facing the front of the car, do NOT remove any of the other screws as they might hold the internals of your gearbox in place and could drop down when you remove them.
Just remove the filler bolt and let it drip until you get a slow flow (close to dripping) of oil and put it back on.
If no oil comes out of the hole fill her up making sure to check if it drips regularly.

Made you a picture.
