They are surprisingly similar. I just want my car to be a solid mid ten second car and not have everyone know it. Low tens would be better, but not necessary. Btw, nice build.

I hear ya, it was 10's, now 9's, wonder if it'll be 8's next year . It's amazing how streetable a 10 second car can ebbe if done right.

I am still considering (25% chance) I'll keep the Red since the knew rules for stock appearing turbo for the DSM Shootout would allow this thing, seems crazy to me, but hey, rules are rules .

May want to check that again, Charlie- the FP DSM Red is not stock-appearing for any 1G, 2G, or Evo as the rules state.

They should really go a step further and require the Evo VIII/IX turbo users to actually use a stock-appearing Evo turbo with a 60mm inlet....not one of FP's flow-advancement covers with the 3" inlet which allows an enormous compressor wheel to be used.

In other words, limiting users to this:

....of course the Evo X turbos still have a HUGE machinable area on the inlet from the factory, so you'd be screwed if you came up against one of those.

Why not grab a FP race manifold and a t3 adapter? Devin used that on the Red Demon well into the 9s. JMFab used to make a heatshield for the FP mani as well.
