No, just buy a Ebay core if you want to cheap it out, make the piping yourself.

kool i always wondered that but i plan on buying one of eba anyways for $150 than going to a shop and get it customed fit in piping

Having a smic mounted in the front wont make any difference. It's still the same size core.... With intercoolers, it not so much location (sidemount or frontmount); it's more core size and surface area. You will see gains from upgrading to a larger core, but not from re-locating the stock one.
