i heard good things about mahle for boosted applications and i can get them for about 430
Diamond doesnt but MORALES RACING does have their custom 4g63 piston made by DiamondAs a rule of thumb at work, Mahle are really good, nicely priced pistons to recommend to the NA crowd. Anything else look at a JE or Wiseco or Diamond (Diamond doesn't offer us a piston though if memory serves me right).
I know everybody loves aftermarket pistons..But do you realize the stock 6 or 7 bolt bottom end will hold 400+?
I'm not even gonna mention the stock block record holder..
i would pick MANLEY OVER MAHLE. manley have coated side and are very budget friendly under $400.00. but if money is not issue, i would buy arias under $460.00 or ross over any other pistons

you have to remember that not eveyone is good at tuning and a forged piston is alittle more forgivein
MAHLE pistons also have two coatings on theirs. if you want a day in day out dd MAHLE are much better piston..WHY? ..its all about PTW clearance.
mahle are low exspanion 4032 much better for a street car. manley are 2618 stronger.but they need more room to swell.much better for fullblown racecar.
I VOTE MAHLE, FOR YOUR GOAL.

Here is MY list of pistons
budget pistons
1. MANLEY
2. WISECO NON HD
3. MAHLE
best pistons IN MY EYES
1.ARIAS
2.ROSS
3. WISECO HD
I have used/sold/seen them all
The Manle 4032 pistons are recommed for cars running under 25 psi. from what MAHLE THEMSELF say its more of a stock replacement piston for person who will not be runnung the car hard, you can call them yourself and ask. they have another piston at are 2618 for cars running 25psi and over. so again at the end of the day the manley are the better choice for price and the boost they can take
and yes the MAHLE do also have a coating but the MANLEY coating is alittle better
for $30.00 bucks more buy a piston kit that will take whatever you throw at it
1 they will slap on start up
25 psi on a 16g- -25 psi on a 35r. HUGE differance!
3 its your opinion. that manley coating is better.

I forgot to mention this is for a 4g64 build

its a 7 bolt block and crank
in MAHLE OPINION THE MANLEY COATING IS BETTER ....give them a call yourself
or I can give you the sales guy ex-number
not trying to be a dick but do alittle research first and I for one have run and sold both pistons before and MANLEY is the better buy. and me saying for $30.00 bucks is for ARIAS pistons.
I have been in the DSM game for over 15 years just trying to help.
