Hello, I just got my block back from machine shop. They bored my block .5mm over or .020

They also attached my eagle rods to the manley pistons.
So I was looking at the sheet that came with the pistons and calculated what the gaps should be. Well I took those numbers and searched the site to compare and I found that the numbers were way to small compared to what others are running. So I contacted manely and they gave me the same numbers I already calculated but said I could increase it some to have...

Top ring: .017"
Middle ring : .014"
Oil rings: .015"

So im confused because I read second ring should be bigger than the first.

So looking for help what to gap them.
400-500hp DD no nitro. Maybe water injection in the far future.

Would I be best advised to run

Top ring .022"
Middle ring .024"
Oil rings .015"
