yes, its true....FREEBIE

I may be wrong but to my understanding it was a federal saftey issue and it must be replaced no matter how much its been done. Like my transfer case can be replaced 6,7,8 whatever times if it goes bad again and again. So if they charged you because the recall has been done before I would call corporate and report that dealer.

NICE!!!!!! Ok so any other recalls you guys think i should get done whyle im at it?

I went trough this with both NHTSA and Corporate Chrysler with my tranfer case. They both told me that the dealer is only obligated to check the recall once and make the necessary repairs and then you are on your own after that.

what would be a good hint that a ball joint is going out, squeks? it seems like evertime i hit a bump something in the front right, maybe suspension, the springs, i dont know, but whatever it is it squeks like crazy??????????

Yep, go get it done for free at the dealer.

i just got mine replaced for free at the dealer today, it had already been done once but they did it again, problem solved, no squeky

my passenger lower rear balljoint is bad too. But i went to chrysler and they told me that the recall was done like back in 98. Are you guys telling me i can go in there and demand they do it again. They legally have too!??

i guess it might not be a control arm. Its the back balljoint on the wheel hub(as in the one more towards the rear of the car), the arm it connects too kinda curves back and is bolted to the craddle with 2 bolts.

(PS hey dave your really freakin close, my cars in canton right now actually :thumb: )
