Looking for DSM owners in Sacramento!

its pretty cool going out there... it be better if there be more dsmer... but i be going to check out 1badtsi's car today after work and help him take out his tranny so he can get the new one and i'll go back and help him put it back up.... so he probley be comming out soon too... i'll be there this weekend too...

yeah the night you came (friday) its not the best night to see DSMs, saturday night sunrise gets packed with DSMs tho. but they usually cruise from one place to place and sits there, its boring after a while.

this just came up but me and my friend (my_gst95) were thinking about having a DSM meet during the day, like a bbq. we are putting up posts on dsmtalk, norcal dsm and other local boards. but give me some feedback on what you guys think about it. we are also tryin to put together a sacramento DSM video together. so send me a PM or just put up a post.

Video should be posted soon. I just gotta figure out how im going to host this thing...Anyway its coming out sweet for all who was there on Saturday. This weekend should be hot as well and im hoping to get alot more in-car shots.

But for those interested, ~Sacramento DSM~ meets usually happen on Sunrise BLVD. The get togethers usually start anywhere from IN&OUT next to Folsom Blvd, IN&OUT in Roseville, and Krispy-Kream next to the Sunrise Mall. I'll be bring my cam again this weekend (Saturday) and now that I met a few more people, hopefully they'll allow me to take a spin with them in their ride (aka ED!!).

For those that already attend, a BBQ would be hella fun and would cause more people to come out I would think. We just need to figure out what day would be the best for everyone, since people have skewl and work. Shooting for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon sounds perfect. Anyway, hope to see you fellow DSM'ers out this weekend!

Possibly. Im the black 2G with rmdsm lip and now a new fmic (check my gallery). My gf has the white 2G automatic GSX (gsxgirl916). I also used to be the ricey white GST with the blitz front and a BIG ASS mitsu symbol on the hood (ah yes, back in the day.) I didn't see any 1G's on Saturday, woulda been nice to mix 'em up in the vid. Hope to see you there this weekend tho.

I'm planning on picking up another dsm here soon so i have one to drive while i do some heavy modding to the gsx... and so i have something to continue the meets with...the civic just isn't going to cut it.

I've just been so busy lately i haven't had time to post or work on the ride...but the extra income from work will allow me to put some into a car

i was also thinkin.. maybe we should have a track day, like maybe on a wed. at the sacramento raceway (test & tune) we could head out there around 4ish (most ppl should be off work by then, if not just meet us there when you are off) and just run our cars. that should be fun and see where everyone is at (time wise on the 1/4) hehe.. let me know. im sure streetbeat, my_gst95 and a few of the other guys will be down

I'm always down. Altho Sacraceway was the place that helped destroy some stuff in my tranny on 2 occasions, im sure my launches have gotten better since then. I can recall when my car was running awsome i hit a 14.5 with only intake and exhaust with my headlight off, but i did a buttload of bolton mods thereafter and couldn't break 14.6-14.8! Frustrating to say the least and i'm almost 100% sure that my ride in its current condtion will pull an astounding...15.5.

Anyway, a track day or dyno day would be nice indeed. I'm thinking of starting a website or yahoo group that'll let the sactown ppl know when bbq's, dyno days, and track events are coming up. Maybe even do some cool stuff like featured cars from us sac ppl. That should be up fairly soon.

If you guys can come out this weekend, i'll try to make SVCD's or high-quality MPEG's of the video i made and hand them out as i don't like compressing the quality of the video. And if we have the bbq some time late this month or early next, i'll have the digital camera to make some nice shots of the local rides and post 'em up/ hit'em up on the next vid. Lumpia should attract DSM'ers to the bbq hehe, and if u dont know what Lumpia is, ur missin out on some good filipino grubbin....mmmm', mmmmmmm'!

Big Ego, there was this guy sellling an AWSOME 1st gen 6bolt GSX in the Antelope area. It was a white 91' and his asking price was 3300 since he put in a newer motor. If i had the money man.....but i ll see if i can't find his number if your interested.

I gave a sample of it to jdm'95gst and i'm really excited to get this site going so we can post when meets,bbqs, and track days are going to be.
