looking for motors in PHOENIX

Hey guys, wondering if there's a certain junk yard or another site where i can find some used 6 bolt long blocks. I'm new to phoenix and i don't want to have one freighted to my house and i don't see anything in craigslist or anything like that. any leads would be appreciated..

I've got one in my garage. Came out of my GVR4. It's filthy, still has the head on it, and I would like to get rid of it. I'm up in the north valley off the 101 and 19th Ave. It's not pretty, but if you're looking for something you can hose off and take to your machinist, I don't see any reason why this won't work for you.

It's not pretty, but that's just because I don't care too much about it at the moment. I'd like to see it go with the head for at least $250, but I'm open to some negotiation. I lost my ass on a GS-T parts car and I'm really strapped at the moment. Have three cars down.

Otherwise, the only yard info I can tell you is to avoid Ecology. They never have shit. Maybe a serverly stripped-down 1G unibody shell, but that's about it. Anything DSM of value to anyone has long been removed from that yard.

hrrmm i'm really interested, can you tell me some specifics ie miles, condition, compression if possible, why it was taken out, if anything that you know of is wrong with it, are cylinders still stock bore.. all that stuff.. and these are the same things that went into the 1g 6 bolt eclipses correct? lmk maybe we can setup a date that i can look at it.. i'm @ 83rd ave and buckeye so not too far i think

My buddy has a built magnus 6-bolt shortblock he is selling if you opt to go that route. 1000 bucks...cheap as dirt. Pauter rods and Ross 8.5:1 pistons. pretty much brand new. Or you can always buy my white eclipse GSX......8g's OTD
