Toronto,
Hey guys I heard about your site from a fellow member That swapped a 4G63 Into his hyundai. I personally Own a 2000 Ford Focus Pushing 350whp and a 2008 Jeep Wrangler. Im looking for a 2G DSM for my g/f but im not 100% with all the sub models with the Talons or Eclipses. What im looking for has to be turbo so I need to know what models I should look for, Like TSI,GST and Ideally I would love a 4wd Spyder not sure if that has been done before. So can some one point me in the right direction and tell me what models mean what?

Eagle TSi are 2WD and AWD, you just have to look at the specifics. GS-T are is a turbo 2WD and GSX is an AWD. As I remember they don't make GSX Spyder only GST, but I maybe wrong.

They didn't make an AWD Spyder but there are a few people that have converted them. Only a handful in the world. I think one of them was on here but had his crushed by a trash truck while it was parked; don't know if he's still around or not.

Oh, and to clarify a little bit:
TSi is the designation for the turbo Talons.
GSX and GST are the designation for Eclipses.

And to explain the difference between the 1g and 2g posted HP difference is the lighter internals and higher compression. The 1g lasts longer with less power, while the 2g runs into things like crankwalk [a quick search should explain that one].

They are fun cars, but they have a history of being abused, so try to find one that has only a few owners (and preferably little old ladies) or you might get one that was driven far too hard for too long with too little care
.

I would definitely suggest buying a car as close to stock as possible unless you feel like dealing with other people's problems. Then some fairly inexpensive upgrades can get the car to fun power levels if you wish.

I thought new people were supposed to be encouraged and welcomed.
