Hey All,

I posted this on the Sac-DSM forum but I can't get the site to come up and wanted to see if anyone of you could help me out. Those of you who know me know that I'm seriously lack installation abilties, thus I'm reaching out to you guys for help. I bought an s-afc II (I know I know - I have an N/T, I'm getting a GST or 350Z in January) and I need some help installing it. My fiance is leaving for her bachelorette party saturday morning and I have the whole weekend to myself. I'm hoping that someone can help me install the s-afc and my air/fuel gauge sometime this weekend. I will take care of lunch or dinner and drinks for whoever can help......anyone with some free time this weekend who wants a free meal and beers?????????????????

Cheers
Kachur

hey kachur i might be able to help you with both... i might be comming down to sac this weekend... i would mind doin the a/f gauge since i've done so many of them.. and the s-afc its cake too.. i'll let you know for sure...

Thanks Manny! Let me know if your around and we can all meet up.

Thanks for the help guys! Also - if we do gather at my house, feel free to come and use the garage for any work you need to do........i have two jacks and jack stands and a good amount of tools (father-in-law is in construction). Mind as well have some fun, work on the cars and eat a little....

wow i guess im not subscribed to this thread anymore so i havent gotten any notifications about new posts.... well i havent done a compression test yet, right now im workin on the throwout bearin that just went on me... im gonna do a compression test but id hate to have good compression cause right now its just a real good excuse to build up my head...in less then two months ill have a ported head, hks valves and cams, aem cam gears, a intake manifold off of machv ported to match the head, symbroski shift kit, act 2600, 2 inch turbo outlet, and 2.5 inch upper intercooler pipin....but no tires so if i wanna take her out i gotta swap the tires off of my non turbo every weekend...i also really need springs cause the guy before me cut the springs and one of the rears is bendin which cant be a good thing.... oh yeah and i was readin through the classifieds and saw this http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=73325
im thinkin we need a group buy

Good luck with the SAFC i suck at electronics. I talked to the shop that my car is at and i should have my car back this weekend or early next week. I can't wait to get it back i have been with out a car for over a month now.

Do a compression test before you do anything else with that car engine wise! Thats probably the first thing I would have ask/done. If your numbers are good, timing is good, then its time to modify. And don't forget to add arp headstuds to your list of upcoming mods. You wouldn't want your fully build head becoming a flying saucer because your running too much boost :p Hope you put your tranny back together before saturday :) Ill send the link to Rich or Nate from S-Squared and see what he can do for us.
