So I picked up this 2ga Talon TSI Awd today for $500. Its a complete vehicle with an auto transmission. Has 1 small spot of strut tower rust and no under body rust. The strut tower rust is nothing horrible. The car is pretty decent for what I paid for. But for some reason it does not start. The timing marks are all lined up and compression is good. It has a new coil pack and crank sensor installed. Any ideas? Heres some photos of the car. :D

if compression and timing are good, does it have spark and fuel are the next things to check. if it has spark, then check the fuel pump/injectors. if it doesnt have spark, check the coil packs or power transistor. If both of those are ok, then your flux capacitor is bad. :thumb:

Yes it has fuel and I am about to check the spark on it now. And yes I picked that up for $500.

There is 4 there one is another red one that you cannot see. :rocks: If I keep finding them for that good of a deal near me then I will keep buying them. This 1 is a 95 Eagle Talon TSI AWD with 155k miles on it. All new timing components and all maintenance appears to be up today. No leaks and good compression. Im hoping to be able to have it running tomorrow afternoon.

That's cool man, I wish there were as many dsm's here as where you live:cry:

swap in a known good ECU just as a quick check if everything else checks out good

They are really hard to find in great shape! They pretty rare around here but I'm just patient and picky when buying.

LMFAO..
This is TOTAL BS. I was talking to the person you bought the car from yesterday. I was trying to buy this car. I called him at noon yesterday and he still had the car. By 6pm when I had the money in hand I get a call from him saying he sold it already. :(

Happy for you though! Was just shocked to see it! :D
