Okay. So here in California more specifically LA its a rare when you find a dsm in the junk yard. A miracle if you find it complete. So today i went to the junkyard and found a 1990 Dsm COMPLETE!!!!! I ran to go see itROFL . I have a 97 gst with a ebay greddy type s bov (wich isnt that bad):coy:
so the first thing it look for is the bov and i find this hehe
So i take it and they ask me what it is so that they can charge me.
i reply with "bypass valve"
and the guy said huh?WTF and i repeated
Hes like hmmm just take it i dont know what it is
i was like :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
so yea i got a free 1g bov
now i just need the flange
Anyone got one?
just thought id share that with you guys

i dont think i have ever seen a stock bov that clean, uncrushed and still with the plastic thing, all the cars around here look like they have been left out in the rain and buried in mud, and smashed to all hell.

car had 116k not a single dent !! i was shocked! but i im still wondering why its there..
and thanks TUNETHIS for the links . as soon as i get money i will order the flange...
and the 1g bov is a cheap upgrade for a 2g dsm and can hold boost pretty good. some would get a 1g bov istead of a aftermarket one to save the money
