that's what I found today when I did my tune up today. I have never seen this before in my life. The car still runs good no smoke and still plenty of power, I just thought that I would share this with y'all.

Everywhere I went didn't have those type of NGKs so I just got some ngk bkr6e for now they were only 2bucks each and I needed them bad as you can see

Wow, well there's your problem right there. ;)

I've never seen a centre electrode break free before.

Me either, I think that's why is old turbo went to hell, I drove the car from Iowa like that and for the past week.

Bosch is junk. My buddy put the +4 Bosch's in his car and all four prongs ended up coming off. Overall junk.

Aren't we only supposed to run copper plugs in our car?

I don't even want to know how the center electrode got out of the chamber. Did you find any metal in your oil? I would put one of those drain plugs in that has a magnet at the end of it just to be safe.

now the real question is where did the tip go? do you have a magnet on a stick you can insert into the cylinder and see if you can fish it out?

Yea there was nothing in there, I've changed the oil about 4times this week since I got the car. Now you can't even see the oil on the dip stick no more

oh good, im just saying that when i got my gsx and i finally pulled the cylinder head off of it i found a nut just sitting there content as all get out.

I'm just surprised it was still runing and it was running really good, except that it was eating gas like it was going out of style

Same thing happened to my buddy right before we found the plug. Turns out he was running rich on bank #1.

Thats because its sitting on top of your piston unless you can explain how it would find its way into your oil from the combustion chamber.

I think it made it's way into the kids old turbo, I havnt had any problems with the car thank god.

Had this happen to me on my 420a nt with these same plugs. When I pulled the head for a gasket job and valve seals I found two of the porcelins missing and the top of two pistons beat to crap. I had a CEL at one time with a missfire code that I never did feel the miss. Ran good the whole time. Didn't change the pistons and it is still running fine.
