Background
Bought the car Summer 2012 from the original owner. Very Stock but not running, clean title. The car had been garaged for 5+ years. The problem it had been having was when the key was turned to the on position the ignition fuse would blow. After weeks of having it my friend found that it was grounding itself out to the chassis. Since that day I performed all maintenance and set off a fogger in the car because it had been garaged for so long there had been webs everywhere my fear was spiders everywhere when I drove it. Plans were to make it a 300 hp street car/daily driver so reliability was definitely a must. Goals are to run in the 12's for a 1/4 mile with full weight. So far everything has been accomplished just need to run in the 12's and I'll be satisfied with this build ....for now ;) update 12/9/15 the 12's were achieved with the old setup on October of 2014 The new setup is listed with full weight and the quest for 11's now but with the super stock visuals. Or at least Stock looking as can be and pass smog. Got to love California Laws. Update 4/23/16, the 11 second pass was achieved and the smog legal part is good to go but would just need to put a catalytic converter on. Goal now. Make it look clean and unique also upgrade engine Internals. Update 1/28/17 Engine blew maybe 2 weeks after I got it running last year so went with a 6 bolt swap with some tasteful upgrades. This wasn't an all out build more like on a budget. Also sourced out some rare parts while the dsm has been down like the galant knuckles for the brembo upgrade, JDM Tail Lights, not EDM. Tring to do everything as proper as I can without jeopardizing the main goal for the car which is 11 second 1/4 mile, and CA Smog Legal, just trying to maintain the power I had with the engine upgrade and keep it Tasteful
