The Megan 3 inch exhaust fits much better on a 2G Eclipse. When I installed mine I made a bracket to tuck it closer to the bumper, Looks so much better! I will snap a pic of mine to show how it looks. I was very pleased.... In one day I went from 14ok Cat stock dp stock muffler.. To 3 inch dp, 3 inch exhaust, HICP Greddy type S, Extreme psi intake, MBC, and Boost gauge! Best damn afternoon spent ever... The gains were AWESOME to say the least!

are you guys running their test pipes or what

I'm thinking about just getting the 3" dp that connects right to the Catback. But that's when I decide to dump more money into the car, which probably won't be long.

I NEED MORE POWER!ROFL!ROFL!ROFL!ROFL!

Ok, just an update since I haven't been on this thread for quite a while. I got looking under the car and found that one of the hangers wasn't even bolted to the frame. I found bolts that would fit it and mounted it back up. It hangs a lot higher than it did so I'm pretty happy with it now!

Thank GOD!
I was gonna say...

Mine doesnt look like that at all!
Its up tight against the rear bumper and the tip barely comes past the bumper.
Ill snap some pics later and maybe do a sound/vid clip.

Took the words right out of my mouth

Yeah, but I knew the manager so I got all parts and labor at dealer cost. It's worth it to me to know that the service was done right. Now I'd like to get the Megan 3" dp and track down a good 1st gen turbo to swap with my tiny 2nd gen or maybe something bigger, who knows. I guess that just depends on how much money I want to throw away, haha.

Are any of you running megan racing's test pipe?
I wonder if my car is going to toss me a cel if I do.

I'm running the full 3" system, no cat. I haven't gotten a CEL for that, or for my emissions equipment (it's all gone). Now that I think of it, that's because I have DSMLink. I guess it's going to depend on your car.

Oh really? Did you had an issue on bolting up the 3" dp to the stock 02 housing? Since one is 3" and the other is 2.5 "

Oh oki ill see if it bolts on or else I have a big problem.
I say this because I had an issue on bolting up my catback to the stock oem cat. Don't ask me why I even tried.. Holiday deeds =(

I have the full Megan Treatment Turbo back.. No cat,no os SIM ...NO CEL... My car is a 99 so OBDII emissions test is plug and play in MD... No Codes = No Problems!

I actualy had a hard time making the 3" MR DP mate up with the stock o2.

What type of issue did you have? Since we both have 95's I'm sure I'd have a similar issue. I'd like to know what I'm getting into before I attempt to do it myself.

just to add some information to this thread. Last night i had the chance to install my MR turbo back. And it was fair easy! About the 02 housing fitting issues with the 3" dp, well there was really much of an effort. I just had trouble in screwing in the bolts for it, since it is a long reach but other than that the installation was fair enough. How did you guys manage to hook on the last hanger!! That is so hard.

if you are talking about the 2g cause i dont know if the 1g is the same.

there is a stock hanger for the catback right BEFORE the axle. you have to unbolt that and turn it 180* and reinstall to fit the hanger location of the 3" MR catback.

again this is something i had to do for my 2g so i dont know if 1g's are the same.

I finaly decided to order my 3" MR dp to make it a full turbo back setup! I can't wait to see if it's a noticable gain in power. I think I'm gonna do a budget 14b swap next. I've been looking around and it seems like for the type of power I want and the money I'd like to spend, it's the cheapest mod for decent gains.
