Logger plugged in Anti lock light on

the title basically explains it but heres the low down

got a logger not to long ago and when i plug it in and turn the car on anti lock light comes on.

one thing to note is the anti lock light has come on before with even before i got the logger but i know the logger is making it happen also both my logger and my firends made it happen.

any ideas

also i apologize for any of this not making sense i got a &*&* of coffee in me right now (alittle hyper)

It would help if we knew what software you are using.

Also, did you try pulling the code with the logger?

Some older logger cables just make the light turn on.

yes ..when your datalogger or pocket logger is plugged it disables the antilock, and that might be why your light is on.

Anyone that isn't auto on will simply because they ground the diag terminal on the DLC at power up.

ABS is now in diagnostic mode which means your car's ABS is not functioning. Steve said it best; older cables ground the terminal.

There are four solutions.

1. don't plug the datalogger in until after you start the car.
2. disconnect the diagnostic mode wire from the ABS computer.
3. get a auto-start datalogger cable.
4. ignore the ABS.
