anti-lock light

Alright what would cuz the anti-lock brake light to come on? Now it doesn't come on all the time, I could go 2 days of normal driving back and forth to work and it won't come one but then the 3rd day there it is again. I've read a few things and most people say its the wheel sensor but I was under the impression that if the wheel sensor is bad that the light would come on after I've driven it 20ft or so...this isn't the case with me, usually I'd be driving for 10 - 15mins before it comes on.

I had the same problem once. It wasnt a bad sensor though. I pulled each sensor and noticed a lot of metal dust stuck to it. The sensors are magnetic and will collect a lot of the metallic dust from the pads and rotors. After a good cleaning. no more problems. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Where are the wheel sensors? My Antilock Light stays on 24/7 and I'm missing one of the two ABS fuses in my fusebox. I would just replace the fuse, but there are no metal prong things for it to plug into! Does anyone else have this missing fuse problem? How can I put them back in?
