Logger (m105) anyone use the craddle to connect to their car?

Just like it says, I have a mutilated palmIII cable that kinda works, but its finicky. I've tried using the m105 cradle to connect but it doesn't seem to work. I don't really see why not though.
Has anyone used the craddle to connect to their car?

My cradle on my palm/phone needs to be pluged in to sync with my computer. Yours might be the same

It's battery powered (2AAA's). And it synch's to the computer fine in the cradle, I'm juts hoping I can use the cradle to connect to the car itself.

Sure, I've used cradle before. I have a travel hotsync cable, the factory cradle, and a cheap aftermarket cradle for my M100 and all three work.

Turns out the cradle will not connect unless you rip out pin 8 from the ODBII cable.
Go figure.
