well, car is missing pretty bad, even at cruise now. I'm not sure a bad alternator or low voltage would cause this. I still wonder if my coil packs are bad. I'm gonna throw a spare a buddy has on to see. Hopefully my alternator from rockauto shows up next week and i can see if i've solved the ignition issues at least. oh well. DSMLife LOL
 
Low voltage can cause all sorts of issues on a fuel injected car; it's #10 on this list for good reason. :)

Get that resolved first, and then go from there.

Yes definitely... You should be seeing around 13.5-14.8 volts generally speaking at the battery with the engine running on a good charging system. If you are reading 12.x volts something is wrong and most likely it's the alternator.
 
I seemed to have the voltage issue fixed the day I threw a rod through the block. I had swapped coils and igniter pack. I think one of them was shorting out. That or the alternator voltage regulator was just not acting up that day LOL
