alright everyone today is gonna be a good day for me. Dsmlink will be here when I get home from work. Here's my question. Seeing that I'm a complete noob with link except what I've read and videos I've watched, would I be able to get it installed and dialed in within 1 day or should I give myself more time? The car it's going in is my daily and I plan on doing this on my day off (Friday) but if I can't have it ready to go by Saturday morning then it'll be a no go. If I can't get it in one day in yalls opinion I'm waiting till next Wednesday and Thursday

Do you have o2 simulating off of wideband?
or are you using factory o2 sensor?

If you are using factory o2 sensor then uncheck "enable wideband simulation" in the NBO2 tab.
is in the ECU config (log) if you are looking at the graph...

I saw that he had it enabled, but then also saw that his wideband isn't in link yet., but didn't put 2&2 together. The Comp could be thorough confused about what AFR it is seeing.

Just remember, (1) coil pack goes to Cyl 2&3 and (1) coil pack goes to cyl 1&4. All you are doing when you flip flop the wires is change which coil pack goes to which group.

i have a wideband sensor in the front o2, the analog wire going to the front o2 sensor ecu wire and power and ground coming from the ecu also. my problem is i cant find my wide band when you go to pin assignments.

what pin is the signal wire wired too?

your first log (car running) didn't define where the wideband was for o2 simulation. Might help, but odd if you didn't need to swap wires.

so i wired the analog signal wire to pin 76. stilil not showing up to choose in pin assignments. and yea i thought it was weird too that it didnt work with the swapped wires and inverted cas.

ohhhhh okay i knew that i saw it in a video one time didnt think abaout that thanks. so my logs look okay? i did tps adjustment and idle switch heres the newest idle log

As Double said, you will need to set it up as linear, then go to captured values, add Linear wideband, then displayed, linear wideband. You should see numbers change if your wideband is hooked to front/rear o2 and assigned properly.

Post a current log.

Go to the middle bottom, select wideband : front or rear "what ever pin you tapped "

To the right of that, check lock rear o2 voltage.

Go to pin assignments above that, select either front or rear
click on the connected sensor and select linear wideband.

To use the wb as linear wb you have to enter the voltage you self in the wb tab wile the data log is open & pc connected , but before that you have to find the proper voltage .

Can you give me an update? What did you figure out about the wire swap and inverting CAS? How does it idle? does it seem sorta right?

Do you have the normal front 02 senor? This may help you dial it in, although sounds like you already cut the wire. I put my wideband on the rear sensor wire and left the front stock.

It appears that after your 15 sec time out, the Front o2 is jumping to rich and staying there. THis is most likely due to your wideband. It looks like your scaling is setup right, do you need to cal the sensor? Do you know the last time it was done? It is possible you are running pig rich at idle, but i doubt it.

When I switched the wires and cas it wouldn't start at all. I pulled the wideband sensor completely out of the housing and calibrated it but no avail, I think the sensor might be burnt out. But if it was burnt out it wouldn't even read rich would it? The front o2 sensor was removed already when I got the car and the wideband in its place.i do have an r sensor that I was gonna put in and weld a bung for the wb sensor before I got link. Not only that that's irritating me though. All the videos confuse the shit out of me. The one that seemed to be the best for me went out of sync half way through the video . All I wanted out of today was idle squared away and a good safe cruise tune. I can worry about wot after all that but this is my daily and I need it back on the road

I think Tomorrow after work I'm going to switch front to oem and put wideband in back and see if that helps with the closed loop and idle

okay and then i take the rear out and put wb in that one and rewire it to the rear 02 right? thats another thing that was irritating me was no matter what changes i made it didnt do anything.

right. make sure you are looking at the BACK of the connector when you wire stuff in. Always make sure the wire color makes sense.

right, i look at the wires going into the back of the block and make sure the wire matches the chart color. i appreciate yalls help for real

Why don't you tray to choose one of the wb from link menu before , for example choose plx wb & see if the gauge will match link . Your wb is using Bosch LSU4.2 sensor so is aem & the rest of them.
