!!! That just happened to me this week. It was wires that were leading from the starter and they were melted to my EGR tube. Check for wires near places that are hot. Mine stalled on me in the morning and it was like 20 degrees outside.
i am starting to get mad i cant find it
is it possible you can get a wire schematic?
We've posted links for the factory manuals in the Tech DSM FAQ section. Everybody should have them.

is it possible you can get a wire schematic? are you using the right amp fuse? i had a similar problem but mine was caused by a mouse having a field day through my fender, my coil pack and a whole bunch of sensors on the car and i had to repair them.
if you get the wire schematic it could help you trouble shoot the problem.
