overheating, replaced radiator, flushed and water pump works.

did compression test and all results were around 135 give or take a few psi, and around 180 wet

coolant is 50/50. no white smoke, looks good and green. no water in oil. and no misfires.

Check the fans.

it comes on when it gets to operating temperature.
it still overheats on the high way and thats when the fans turn off correct?

the fans look okay too, the ac fan looks almost brand new and the other one does look a little worm. not cracked or anything though

Yea it could be your fans or it could be your coolant temp sensor has gone bad. I know when my temp sensor went bad it said the engine was over heating when the engine temp was in fact fine. I replaced it and from that point on the gauge read's right.

it doesnt ever all the way over heat, never more than 3/4's
would that still be my temp sensor?
