Hey guys, not sure if this is the correct name for the BAR LINK, but anyway, yesterday i was searching for a replacement part, the only one which i would find was for the Alfa Romeu 156 which mesures almost (by less than 5mm) from the OEM for the Mitsubishi Galant (Yes, my DSM 2g has the front suspension from a Galant). Anyway, my question is, is it ok to use a slightly bigger SWAY BAR LINK than the OEM?

Below is a pic of the part i meant to ask about.

Its a droplink or end link, either or, many other names also,

We share the same setul as galants 8G because at the time it was effective and they never worried about cost, we also can use some 3G items too but not much,

Length can be an issue, deoending how the cars setup but you most likely wont feel the difference on the streets, our lemgth is 120mm so 115mm should be fine, it might just feel a little different thats all, effect i cannot say due to many setup differences

Thanks for the response guys, regarding the lenght, the one im using is a bit bigger (about 5mm) than the OEM one, been bigger is a problem or i am ok to use it? cheers

Adding on, i mean in terms of reliability and safety, i use my car on a day to day basis and from time to time for road trip. Cheers

5mm longer is safe, as long as the hole size for size is spot on and not flapping/loose, the difference it makes wont be noticeable so if its all you can get, go for it
