Lighter Flywheel cause 7Bolt CrankWalk?

I'm doing my clutch this week and I bought a new ACT Streetlite Flywheel (NEW) off some dude on CL for $100 Bucks. Anyways I've heard rumors that if you get a lighter Flywheel on 2g 7Bolt it actually increases the chances of your motor to crankwalk?? This true or not true????? Any input or advice thanks!!

Nope.

Improper lug nut torque will do it for sure. So will using regular unleaded.

Hey I understand your guys frustration trust me. I've learned a lot since I've come on to this forum but sometimes hearing crap makes you think twice and yeah sometimes the stuff you hear is total BS coming from idiots but just wanted to make sure. I'll be 100% honest I'm not totally sure bout the whole CrankWalk but now I have a general Idea after reading the 1000AAQ..

Check the crank play before you put it on and then after. I have heard rumors like that as well. Just make sure to apply a load to the crank while installing (push it towards the side of timing components). This is just a precautionary measure assuring alignment of the crank while the flywheel/clutch is being installed. Otherwise there is no reason your crank should walk on a lighter flywheel...
