Heres the "3g lifters" - 4G63T Mitsubishi Lash Adjusters
i'm sure almost everyone on here will agree with me, to go with the 3g (3rd generation lifters) cheap/best replacement.

And heres the tool:

mitsubishi gto/evo tappets/lash adjuster tool - eBay (item 200567343723 end time Jan-30-11 00:38:49 PST)

and heres the write up you can follow to do it : http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/art...34-diy-lash-adjuster-lifter-removal-tool.html

You do realize you paid over twice the amount for basically the same lifter. $86 compared to $180

Is the sound you listen for the one that sounds like the car is slightly dieseling when you have gas peddle so far Down?
