Leaving the exhaust stock, sleeper idea, or power restrictor?

1g turbo laser, fwd I have a hard intake, and a boost controller now set at 16 psi, i think eventually i would want to get an exhaust, would it be possible to get a 3 inch downpipe. 2 and a half inch all the way back and leave the stock muffler? My fuel pump is going in next, and i will probably keep the boost at like 10, until it gets here , however i experienced no problems running 16 psi. I would like to keep the stock muffler for the sleeper aspect, but would it really hinder performance that much?

i think you should just run a 3 inch with a high flow cat and a apexi n1 muffler my car isnt that loud i have a 2g gsx with a evo 3 turbo and it has that (rumble turbo sound to it) i love it when it sits at a idle and it isnt that loud at all and i have a tubular exhuast manifold too.
