This is my budget project. (i'm really broke). 3" Downpipe to a 2.5 exhaust with no cat or muffler. Hacked intake box. FUll tune -up (spark plugs wire, spark plugs, oil, etc etc. gutted. How can I make 240whp without busting the bank? I will add a walbro fuel pump and boost controller (manual). But would that alone get me there? I'm still running the 14b.
Do I need something like a SAFC or meth injection? both around $250. But with the meth i'll still need something to tune with right?

well if you are going to max out your stock fuel system you should use hard pipes and a front mount to make sure you don't get detonation. and do the rewire so you don't lose voltage to the pump at high rpm. mostly, i cut my balance shaft belt so it didn't break. my brothers belt separated and barely didn't get caught in his timing belt. also, i'm not sure how much boost the stock bov holds.

The stock bov will hold around 22 uncrushed. These were my mods on a galant vr4 so keep in mind im about 400 pounds heavier.stock pump with rewire, small jdm frunt mount with stock pipes full 3'' exhaust with 3'' o2 housing boost set at 16 psi.on a bad run I got a 13.8 at 103 so im about at 250 so copy this list, and you'll be fine.
