leak? Intercooler piping/couplers?

I have a FMIC and today i was driving around and i heard a big pop. I figured it was my coupler blewing off. So i looked and it was so after fixing it I cant get any boost. Instead of hearing my turbo spool and build up boost all I hear is like a sucking of air sound of something along those lines i checked all my couplers they seem fine and its a brandnew one on the one that blew off.

Do a boost leak test.

Check the piping itself, as maybe one of the welds crapped out on you? Also time for a boost leak test to isolate any other sources of the leak.

ok i tried to figure it out becasue i dont ahve a boost leak tester and liek it doesnt seem to like sucking in but yet pushing out on the passenger side like once boost starts to build you jsut heard pshhhhhhhhtttttttttt then my BOV might sound off i have a type s do you think the BOV could be stuck?

You have a HUGE boost leak some where. It doesnt sound like its the bov. Best thing to do is take out the piping, couplers, and inspect them 1 by 1, since you dont have a boost leak tester.

dumb question but the car has to running to do the boost test right?

Nope. You want the car to have ran before you do the test, but not while you're doing the test.

Don't forget a bottle of soapy water to spray on the possibly areas to isolate the hissing sound. The soap will bubble giving you a "There's Your Sign."

Boost leaks and popping off IC piping has always been a huge problem. I have been looking around for ever for a fix and I have finally found it.
