Fmic Piping Couplers.

can silicone couplers be bought locally, ie: home depot, muffler shops, etc.? i just got a front mount, i have a t25 at 13 lbs. would 2.5 inch or 3 inch piping be better? my ic has 3 inch outlets but i could use reducers to 2.5 if it would be better.

the couplers from home depot are crap for ic piping or atleast there bends are they blow in half in my experience but this has happened on bigger turbos then a t25....2.5 is big enough 3 is overkill. i have a friend who went 11's with 2" crush bent...save some money.....i know there are shops in my town that carry silicone connectors but im not from ur town......

look for any hose shops....

I got mine from AutoZone. I laid everything out and figured out exactly what I needed. then I went and asked if I could look at thier radiator hoses. I just measured Inner Diameter and bends and got everyting working. after buying a bunch of rad hoses I stil only spent 1/2 of what I would have for silicone couplers. that and i am still on a stock t-25....

the straight rubber ones from home depot would be ok. ( 3" )
You can auto buy reinforced rubber hose in any length you want from
nappa.

rubber hose or radiator hose will be strong enough up to what psi on a t25 and will it handle heat? in running 13.

Three inch tubing would be overkill and would likely increase lag. It costs more and is harder to work with. 2.5 is plenty big.

I bought 5296k56 High temp silicone tubing from McMaster-Carr. They sell it by the foot in quarter inch ID increments. It isn't cheap at $17+ but you can probably cut four connectors per foot. They ship the same day usually.

I've squeezed this type of tubing from 2.5 down to 2 instead of buying expensive reducers.
