laser gold package

does anybody know exactly how many of the gold edition lasers were made?
I have heard only a handfull but that doesnt mean much, im sure there was more than 5 i have seen 5 on this site alone, couple were for sale too.
just wanted to know exactly how many. everybody says its the rarest 1g besides that prototype because there is only 1 of them.
Anybody have any ideas?

I didn't know them are mudflaps, just thought it was part of the ground effects. wierd but cool and bud why would you want mudflaps? live in the country?

okay i see now. if i see any 1g flaps ill pick them up for you. what year do they come on? theres a 90 gsx around here don't remember if it had them but i will check next time i go to that yard. have you ever checked out gibsons in neenah? lots of dsm's mostly non turbo but last time i went there was a tsi and tsi awd. they are pretty cheap because they are a pick and pull.

What all makes it a gold edition? Mine has no spoiler and no sunroof. It has the molded gold ground effects and what not but is missing the script laser on the bottom. I'll try to find a pic.

Edit found some pics. I know it is very dirty this is when I first brought it home after it had been sitting in a barn for 8 years. Paid 150.00 for it.

the gold edition is from 93-94 it came with gold rims gold decals and gold badges. that picture you had i couldn't really tell it's too dirty. just check out my gallery and compare

thats nice i love the way it looks, badass indeed. better than the 2g talon i think. very nice job i would deffinetly buy that car if it were ever made. even has the same kind of rims i have on my laser

which spoiler is that? maybe you should leave it i personally like it w/o a spoiler. but your car your choice, got a pic of that 5 piece ? is it the flatish black 1 that comes on 1ga talons?

I have a 93 laser awd, but no goldie. Ive seen a few online forsale, mostly with automatics. Not sure on the production count but man there rare. Here are some pics of the golds.. last 2 are not golds, just some white freshness...

Everything looks great..... except the price and color i bought mine for $550 with performance parts with it, but then again the guy needed money and it wasn't running at the time, this is a dealership right?
