heck, I'd buy a kit if its under 500, and then I'll bug you to help me install it, I think there are enough 1g owners who would buy them, maybe not enough to mass produce the kits, but enough to take a few orders

nutshot just shut the #### up and leave this board

no one wants, needs, or even respects your opinion

you bring nothing to this board except arguments and dumbass opinions, considering you are on the NON performance board, stuff that DOES NOT RELATE TO PERFORMANCE AT ALL, hence the word NON being in the title of the board

that may be true, but come on, dont turn this thread into a battlefield, its here to talk about this conversion kit, which I would like mainly because then I could park in a parking lot and not have to worry so much about sticking my hand along the edge of the car door so that it doesnt hit someone elses car when I open up the door, he he and just because I think it would be cool, even as overdone as it is, if I cant own a lambo, at least I can own a car with door that open like one

I agree about the second gens... the reasoni am doin it to a 1st gen is because obviously I own a 1st gen, and can use it as a template, and also bcause I know what its like not to be able to afford a newer model, or even an older with a turbo... This kit is for people like me, poor college student budget! (my new slogan:D )

Im not looking to mass produce, but just sell a few kits here and there.
If it works out, I will deffinatly try to find someone with a 2nd gen to use as a template and make more. I just wanted to see if there would be an interest for it.

BTW- deffinatly gonna keep it under 500 for the kit.

Please, do something else. How about seat tracks that allow the front seats to move farther back, or a better ventilation system, or anything else...

if you want your seats to retract farther, why dnt you make it then? I have absolutly no problems with my seats, so I dont want to make anything like that...
Ventilation, easy fix- roll down your windows

i talked to my step father about it tonight, hes effinatly interested.
the kid who works for him has a 90 TSi,so hes gonna look at it this wee to se what I will need, and maybe start to get a template if he has time

Honestly IMO i would beef your car up a little more before you put lambo's on your car. That should be one of the last things on your "to do" list. here is a pic if you haven't seen them b4 on a 2g

Why say that? its the 2G applications that are always seeking Bodykits and bolt ons. Whereas the 1G models look fine in stock trim... this is the general opinion on most of the forums here anyway. I just wanted to know if it had been done to my car, im not lookin to change the style of my car, just enhance it a little.

Thats a great idea. I think there would be lots of interest. I know you could count me in. Good luck and keep me posted on the progress [email protected]. Personally price isn't an issue for me I'm more concerned with quality.

Check this there is a guy in jersey that just started a company that makes scissor door kits that are complet bolt on kits, no cutting, no welding, no paint required, all bolt on system, takes 1hr to install, he is workin on making the kit for the DSM's right now, he has only created the kits for civics/integra, its like 1,400 for the whole kit but thats all you need! as soon as its done i'll be the first and post. go here to checkit it http://www.decah.net/
