i emailed the 1usamotor site with some questoins a few weeks back , this is what i got out of them, lambo doors start at about $4000 (manual opening) including labor im pretty sure. they will also do electric which of coarse will be more, not sure by how much though, they are located in san antonio texas and you'd have to ship your car to them for them to do it, they are the ones responsible for the "bumble bee" eclipse (the yellow one that has every exterior bopy part imaginable including a hood scoop for a blower...go figure..i still like the car though -=x)

oh yea www.decah.net is supposed to be manufacturing a bolt on kit for the eclipse but not sure when that will be out, i emailed them too and they said that you can have the civic conversion modded to fit the eclipse

If you like Lamborghini doors and body kits I am not hating on you. I think the sh$% is sweet too. It would be great fun to me to have either of these style oriented mods. You could pimp the heck out of them. No cost for the Lamborghini doors is kind of outrageous, but if you got it to blow just to be cool as hell.........Godbless ya!!

I personally would like to have either mod. I think there are other people who all want these doors and a kit. It is just UNIQUE TO THE MAX. Tuning and styling is all about having fun.

I saw an autoloc ad that had something about it. I was just browsing through a truck mag when I saw it. I e-mailed them and didn't get a reply. decah told me the same. Civic kit can be modified. They said the eclipse kit will probably never happen. They said they need a lot more demand in order to make them. For 1500 a pop for a set of hinges, I doubt demand will ever get half as high as they need it.

Second link just said "testing"... as for the first link, I have seen this site before. They are one of the few sponsors for the F&F2 eclipse. They are begining mass production on their VLS (Vertical Lift System). The company is owned by Eric and Holly, so far I was under the impression that this kit was only available for 3g's....unless 3g's have the same door layout as 2g's I'm not sure it will work. If not, just ask them if it would be possible to make it for 2g's.

My step father owns a body shop, and a couple of his friends fabricate race parts... I'm thinking about doing the lambo door conversion to my talon over spring break when I'm home. If I can do it problem free, I will be able to make a bunch and sell 'em. My stepfather is almost convinced to help me on this- so I want to see how many people would be interested in purchasing a kit. It will incude all brackets, the hydrolic shocks to hold up the doors, instructions, and whatever else I could need to do it. I dont know how much the kit would cost exactly, but it will deffinatly be affordable! I have seen some go for close to 1,000!!! I dont know about you all, but thats not anywhere near my price range!

With proper tools, and the time ( plus some know how) it should be fairly easy to do it yourself, but you may want to have it professionally done.

Just give me a post to let m know i anyone would be interested. If I can get enough people, i plan on doin it to my car in 1 month from today. So i will keep all whos interested informed!

Its great you are doing it and all, but do it for a 2g too im sure you can find someone who would let you use their car as a dummy



Would sell much better since there are a lot of show car 2g's


Id be very interested if its feasible for around 500$ and works for 2g

94 Talon ES go for it. Sounds like a lot of hard work. I hope it works out for you. I think you should make it more for 2nd generation too because there are way more 2G showcars than 1G's.

Most 1G owners only want an AWD Turbo for racing and track use and I don't think there are enough 10-13 year old showcar 1G's for you to make a lot of money off of. The demand would more so come from the 2nd generation models with a very RARE few who would want the kit for a 1G IMHO.
