most definatly, christ you could turbo your car with a bottem (i just completely forgot how to spell that word...WTF?) kit for that much money. i guess to each his own though..

I heard everyone and their mom had lambo doors at nopi. I went to HIN- Atlanta and a crap ton of cars had them. I like them and I would do this, but I won't pay close to $2,000 to have it done. I think that's ridiculous for a modified hinge and some crap u can get at a hardware store.

I dont know much about how the system works, but do the doors have to go out that much before they go up? I though that was a diffrent type of door conversion...if you look at a lambo the doors just go UP, not out then up

(BTW has anyone seen the Koenigegg's doors?) those are by far the coolest doors ever!)

I never said it was easy. The hinge has to be fabricated and all clearance issues have to be considered. But the fabrication of the hinge should be the only additional expense. I just don't see paying them like 1500 labor or whatever the extra amount is after all materials are figured in. That's what I was getting at. The bodyshop I go to can probably get my doors swinging up for a lot better than $2,000. If they color matched the hinges, installed the kit, etc- then we might be talking. I might pay 1500 if the doors opened by remote. I probably wouldn't tho, since it's been done already-there's not that much value there anymore.
