1G Koni yellow inserts in AGX front housings?

I'm in the process of bringing a 91 Talon tsi AWD back to life. The car currently has a blown set of KYB AGXs in the front. I hear nothing but good things about koni sport inserts but can they be installed in the AGX strut housing? I've never heard of anyone doing this but I don't own any stock struts. If this isn't possible could anyone advise a set of front struts that will be compatible with Eibach pro kit?

Probably could work, but need to check and see what the ID of the AGX. IIRC those are a little bigger than stock.

Koni inserts will work fine with the AGXs, I currently have mine installed this way.
