doesnt really make a difference any air that enters the turbo is gonna turn instantly hot because turbo work off exhaust fumes.

The FIPK is awesome and it HUGE...allows plenty of air flow. Deffiently worth the money I paid for it. Messing with the oil is not hard at all.
The reason they don't make CAI for the turbos is....look at where it would have to go(clue: in front of Pass. wheel) now...is there something there? Right...the Intercooler. If you get a front mount then it is possible...and it is worth it too...it just takes custom fabricating. The reason it is worth it is because the MAS measures Air Intake Temps and they affect timing...if the ECU sees 50-70 degrees cooler air because its not affected by under hood temps you will get better timing and thats a good thing

I think there's a blockage in my rifle barrel, could you take a quick look while I hold the trigger?Originally posted by DSMSpyder99

Well, you could get a Buschur CAI, but you would need either a MAFT, VPC, or stand alone. In which a CAI's purpose is somewhat defeted because the MAS/MAFT is not on the intake pipe and air temps/density arent an issue there. Im getting the CAI to fill up some space in my bumper, since I had to ditch the stock fogs for my FMIC![]()

If you buy a generic cone intake, it won't be as big, and won't come with all the appropriate adapter plates to fit your MAS. I have a FIPK and give it a big![]()
You can get them for $120 from RRE: http://www.roadraceengineering.com/eclintake.htm

1). So since the air just heats up anyways once it enters the turbo then is there really a point to getting a whole intake.
2). how is the metal tube better then the current plastic?
3). should i just get a filter and mount it on?
