Yes. The tranny in a 420a is on the drivers side. Isn't that whats in your 2g?

what other eagle talons, there on the passenger side, not sure about the 420motors though.

i mean i just saw some other eagle talons that had the body style of the 98 have the trans on the lert not right like mine

those are the 4g63t aka turbo motors, they were also 4g63t and n/a 4g63 in the generation DSM's
