Just got delivered tonight! I had been chasing down a bunch of other problems (bunch of boost leaks and dead MAF) and finally got it identified down to ecu air/cap and fuel cut (mostly plateauing out on air cap). I was also running 550 injectors and the ecu didn't seem to know what to do with them even though they aren't all that bigger than 450s. I ordered all the options except no lift to shift. I don't see my tranny liking that. The CEL comes on at redline. Points of knock get displayed in the stock boost gauge. And stutterbox of course. I got a few confused looks from other driver's trying it at a redlight. I didn't launch it. Wasn't even in gear. The car feels flat out amazing!!! Throttle response is crisp! No stutturing! No Hiccuping! Smooth and is making way more power! I was running 19 psi with no problems at all when before I put it in I couldn't even manage to run 12 psi without the car having a coughing fit! Most of the time I just ran my boost controller in the off/monitor setting. I didn't stomp on it because I just finally got it running great again and want it to stay that way at least for a little bit! It was barely registering any points of knock at all.

I hope you have somthing to tune with beisdes the chip. If your going to run bigger injectors you need somthing to tune and a wideband would be a plus. If not well then you should really be drving your car and if you do. you def shouldnt be beating the living crap out of it. your going to ruin the motor do it the way you were.

So we can play around with it a bit. Sound advice. I am also buying an AEM Uego this next week. I do have aeromotive afpr and Jeff (Keydiver) at DSMChips set my chip up to best run at 47 psi.

Make you setup your fuel pressure based on your fuel trims *NOT* what your fuel pressure gauge says. They're has been some issuses (there is a discussion about it on the dsmchips forum also I believe). I'll help you dial in your car easier then messing with trying to get 47psi EXACTLY right on the FPR's gauge.

OP, you'll love the chip over time. I've had mine for about a year now and it's golden. I don't even use my afc to fine tune it...everything is spot on. I've got a dual image chip, and my afr's are great whether I'm on 91oct or e85. I have a logger and a WBo2 setup, and that's really all I need to have as much fun as I can throw at the car.

Jeff's chips are set up to compensate for injectors, so he doesn't really need anything else to compensate for them. An afc can be a good auxiliary add-on if you want to tweak afr's a bit, but at least on my car it is not needed. Yes to a WBo2 on any modified car for sure.

Jeff does a great job with chips, is very helpful and treats his customers right!

I have been running his chips and they work great. Hope you had the boost gauge set as knock sensor. I had him upgrade my 560 chip for larger injectors, before I could get it in, I also went 2.3. With the new chip and injectors, I was seeing knock. I added a few points with a SAFC and knock completely disappeared, I may be running a little rich but the car pulls like crazy with no knock!

Get a SAFC for fine tuning.

I finally got the chance to stomp on it and it's a lil scarey. Jeff at Keydriver did such a good job on my new ecu and chip! I also got the option doen to display points of knock in the stock boost gauge and have only seen very slight knock opened all the way up full throttle! I'm loving it! I was taking my friends out for boost runs earlier today. It has never made this much power before! I am still getting used to the stutter box function.

AWWW man!
You didnt get NLTS???

My trans is the original one put in the car by the factory minus the ACT 2600 and I NLTS the crap out of it.

I understand now why people always comment saying NLTS is better for the trans.

NLTS can be easier on the tranny. It smoothes things out; and does not allow the rpms to fall, keeping your car in boost. Works best on larger turbos.
