just another can't choose a turbo thread

Hey guys i am having a really hard time deciding on a turbo. I know people say to do research and i have but still unsure, any input would be awesome! My mods are in the profile but i will be adding Kelford 272 and evo springs/retainers to the mix. I am looking to dip into the 11s on either a borg warner s256, Garret 30r or a PTE 5557. I am really looking at these three in a T3 housing.

S256ETT, HX35, and FP3052 would all be at the top of my list depending on how much you're looking to spend.

My vote is for GarretGT 35R, with smaller 0.63 AR T3 turbine, besides, that you are going to need a bigger injectors..

+1. Really strong turbo and very efficient. I would also put a .63 A/R t3 housing on it for a 2.0L.

What is your best time on that 20g?

My 20g is pretty blown. my best time so far is a 13.1 at 104 with 21 pounds of boost. i made my decision though and bought the borg warner s256

You should get your car into the top 25% of comparable setups before upgrading. This is how 12 second 35r setups are born.

Please tell me you bought the extended tip? If not, you would have been better off with the Holset.

This turbo will be running close to its fullest capabilities and i will not put it to shame.

My 20g had more shaft play in than you could not believe.
