I hate these threads myself, but this time im really cought up as to what i want. My plan was originally to get an evo 3 16g with 272's that are already installed in the car, but since the 272/272 combination is sort of too big for the evo 3 i really dont know which route i should go? I Want your guys opinions as to what turbo i should run. I want streetability, i want good midrange with a good amount of top end. My mods are as follow...Full bolt ons, FMIC, act 2600 w/fidanza flywheel, 272/272 cams, mickey thompson slicks (for the track),650's, eprom chip w/afc too fine tune. So basically with my fuel im sure theres an endless amount of turbos i can run. Gimme your input. thanx guys.:laser: :dsm: :talon:

well first are you still on the stock bottom end? any head work been done/ headgasket ect. ? personally im running a PTE 50 trim with about the same mods fresh built engine and fuel control (safc, maft ,afpr and 255 pump) and i love it. Great power and it boost's hard. But like you said there are a ton of different turbo's out there. If i were to do it again id still buy a percision turbo but id get ball bearing for a lil faster spool up. Good Luck!

Yes im still on the stock bottom end 145k on a 1g 7 bolt....holding up pretty strong...155-160 compression across all 4....coulda been rebuilt by previous owner i have no clue. Stock head gasket from what i know.....just in need of help of picking a turbo out here.

I agree, go with 50 trim, it will complement all your goodies nicely, you will not regret it.:thumb:
