Help me choose a turbo for my power goal.

I've only been around the dsm community for about a month or so and my project talon is drawing close to completion. I'm looking for roughly 450-500awhp. mods are as followed:

stage 3 port and polished head with nippon nitrate coated valves
adjustable cam gears
cometic head gasket
wiseco 9:1 compression pistons
eagle rods
honed and machined block/crank
ARP head studs
ACT clutch
FMIC/ piping
full 3inch turbo back

Other stuff here and there but thats it for the core engine. i have fuel management taken care of and the drivetrain... I'm use to the srt world where there are only a hand full or vendors that sell turbo upgrades, but my head is spinning with all these choices.... so i would appreciate the help from the pros... thanks in advance

BTW, i am on a budjet and that AGP rs60-1 is looking mighty tasty but i dont know if it will meet my power goals?

1/4 goal is roughly sub 11's if not high 10's when i learn how to drive an awd car if this matters with a turbo choice.
 
there are several turbos which will get you to these goals. what style, and how much you want to spend are things to consider.

Here are several to think about. RS49T, RS60T, 50trim full Garrett kit, FP3052, HX35 bolt-on.
There ya go. Thats just a few of the more popular right now. Now brew yourself a pot of coffee, do a search on each one and get ready for some reading.

Im serious on this. Read on these and others and you can arm yourself with the knowledge you will need to make the decision on the correct turbo for your goals.

I think you're going in the right direction with the 60-1. 50-trim variants will get you close, but you're talking whp, and few people have made 500hp on 50 trims, so I'd suggest something larger (mostly to make it ALOT easier on you, unless you plan on using nitrous) The FP3065 would also be a good option, but it's also a pricey one. SBR makes a bolt-on 60-1 that would meet your goals as well. Just remember, a 60 trim is much different than a 60-1, and the 60-1 has shown to work alot better on dsm's especially on pump gas. For your 500whp goal I'd also suggest a good set of cams like the HKS 272's or the Forced Performance FP2's (pretty much the 272's, but less expensive).
 
FPgreen or FPred will get you there with better reliability than alot of the 50/60 trim turbos being sold at various vendors.

Word. FP Red = 60-1. I'd recommend a 60-1 as well. However, when shooting for those goals I'd feel much more comfortable opting for a full garrett setup instead of a bolt-on hybrid setup (unless you want to go the FP 30xx or FP Red route). There is nothing saying you can't get the garrett/mitsu hybrids to go that fast, but I would prefer a full garrett if my goals were similar to yours. :)
